Often called “the best production cruising boat ever made”, this pioneering yacht (designed by Doug Peterson and built by Jack Kelly) introduced the concept of “performance cruising” with an ideal, fast boat that sails well in any wind.  Sturdy, easy to handle, and with great interior space it is extremely livable – be it dockside or while cruising.

Only 200 of these boats were made and they are now found all over the world.  The Peterson’s enjoy a great following, supported by a lively web listserve (www.kp44.org) that keeps all owners in touch. Very few blue water yachts are in the same league as the Peterson.  A true classic and a pleasure to own and sail.
